Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.45%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.45%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 5.16% or 62.50 points to trade at 1,274.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 1.89% or 420.00 points to end at 22,640.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.22% or 280.00 points to 23,200.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 5.26% or 42.80 points to trade at 771.40 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 5.01% or 4.94 points to end at 93.60 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 3.16% or 6.45 points to 197.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 55 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.26% or 42.80 to 771.40. Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.01% or 4.94 to 93.60.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 5.62% or 5.79 to $97.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 5.17% or 5.53 to hit $101.37 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.66% or 32.60 to trade at $1,928.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.79, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 98.96.
