Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.44%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.44%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.92% or 4.8 points to trade at 167.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.58% or 3.0 points to end at 121.2 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 1.10% or 5.8 points to 530.8 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 2.26% or 15.50 points to trade at 670.50 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.66% or 13.60 points to end at 804.20 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.62% or 5.5 points to 333.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 77 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.56% or 1.20 to $78.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.45% or 1.16 to hit $81.16 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 8.65 to trade at $1823.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.34% to 6.5664, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4384.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 96.015.
