Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.40%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.40%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 8.60% or 99.00 points to trade at 1,250.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 6.92% or 13.70 points to end at 211.80 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) was up 6.43% or 13.70 points to 226.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 5.04% or 7.25 points to trade at 136.60 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 3.85% or 36.30 points to end at 906.10 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 2.03% or 54.00 points to 2,604.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 108 to 45 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.76% or 0.58 to $75.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.78% or 0.65 to hit $82.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 9.65 to trade at $1,933.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.69% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 101.45.
