Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.39%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.39%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 4.00% or 27.90 points to trade at 725.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 1.97% or 7.40 points to end at 382.40 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.18% or 2.08 points to 177.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 1.96% or 4.50 points to trade at 225.40 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.71% or 7.40 points to end at 426.60 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 1.43% or 15.00 points to 1,032.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.71% or 7.40 to 426.60.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 4.24% or 3.68 to $83.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.71% or 3.44 to hit $89.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 9.45 to trade at $1,722.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 7.48, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 110.17.
