Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.39%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.39%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 12.05% or 12.30 points to trade at 114.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 1.78% or 15.60 points to end at 893.40 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.47% or 0.75 points to 160.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 3.75% or 8.10 points to trade at 208.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.18% or 3.60 points to end at 161.60 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 2.17% or 9.50 points to 427.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 70 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.56% or 1.37 to $89.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.14% or 1.07 to hit $94.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.25 to trade at $1,668.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.88% to 7.44, while EUR/DKK rose 0.09% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 110.06.
