Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.27%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.27%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 2.36% or 58.00 points to trade at 2,514.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.97% or 9.20 points to end at 955.80 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 0.24% or 2.50 points to 1,046.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 2.77% or 2.76 points to trade at 96.80 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 2.45% or 11.40 points to end at 453.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.29% or 5.40 points to 230.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 73 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.45% or 11.40 to 453.00.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.32% or 0.31 to $96.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.07% or 0.07 to hit $99.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 13.65 to trade at $1,738.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.45% to 7.38, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 107.60.
