Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.23%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.23%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 3.48% or 46.0 points to trade at 1367.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 1.61% or 18.0 points to end at 1133.0 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.77% or 4.4 points to 572.6 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.59% or 8.5 points to trade at 319.7 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.08% or 11.6 points to end at 547.4 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.89% or 20.00 points to 1038.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 64 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 1.61% or 18.0 to 1133.0.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.71% or 0.42 to $59.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.22% or 0.14 to hit $63.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 10.40 to trade at $1812.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.1382, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4363.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 90.483.
