Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.19%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.19%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 1.63% or 6.6 points to trade at 412.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 1.55% or 11 points to end at 735 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.03% or 240 points to 23650 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 1.16% or 8.5 points to trade at 723.6 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 0.75% or 1.3 points to end at 171.6 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.42% or 11.0 points to 2598.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 76 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.03% or 240 to 23650.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.43% or 0.33 to $75.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.56% or 0.44 to hit $78.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 6.45 to trade at $1804.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.5524, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4354.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 95.903.
