Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.16%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.16%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.83% or 3.50 points to trade at 76.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.75% or 400.00 points to end at 14,930.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.53% or 385.00 points to 15,600.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 3.41% or 31.20 points to trade at 882.60 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.80% or 2.60 points to end at 141.80 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 1.37% or 5.60 points to 402.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.16% or 0.98 to $85.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.97% or 0.90 to hit $93.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.76% or 12.35 to trade at $1,646.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.52% to 7.57, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 112.30.
