Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.15%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.15%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 2.29% or 3.50 points to trade at 156.45 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.70% or 300 points to end at 17910 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.63% or 15.80 points to 983.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.22% or 8.4 points to trade at 370.3 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.20% or 3.0 points to end at 247.2 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.94% or 5.2 points to 550.8.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 64 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.01% or 2.00 to $68.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.67% or 1.84 to hit $70.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.15 to trade at $1727.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.3469, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4373.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 93.078.
