Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.09%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.09%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 1.37% or 10.80 points to trade at 801.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.77% or 7.80 points to end at 1,015.80 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 0.20% or 1.20 points to 614.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 3.07% or 520.00 points to trade at 16,430.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.63% or 440.00 points to end at 16,260.00 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) was down 1.90% or 4.10 points to 211.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 57 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; up 0.77% or 7.80 to 1,015.80.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.71% or 2.18 to $78.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.34% or 2.02 to hit $84.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.71% or 31.75 to trade at $1,822.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 1.06% to 7.04, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.03% at 105.40.
