Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.04%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.04%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.65% or 17.80 points to trade at 690.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 1.90% or 19.00 points to end at 1,021.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 0.85% or 110.00 points to 13,100.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 4.40% or 23.00 points to trade at 500.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.77% or 4.70 points to end at 165.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.71% or 15.00 points to 538.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 54 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.65% or 17.80 to 690.20. Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.71% or 15.00 to 538.00.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.91% or 1.58 to $80.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.61% or 1.39 to hit $84.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 5.25 to trade at $1,938.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 102.88.
