Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.02%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.02%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 1.81% or 270.00 points to trade at 15,220.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 1.46% or 7.00 points to end at 488.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.45% or 220.00 points to 15,425.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 1.71% or 10.90 points to trade at 625.90 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.68% or 3.55 points to end at 208.20 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.57% or 0.90 points to 157.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 71 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.87% or 1.50 to $78.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.66% or 1.44 to hit $85.17 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 4.90 to trade at $1,858.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 103.31.
