Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.02%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.02%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 10.51% or 17.45 points to trade at 183.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 4.00% or 7.60 points to end at 197.60 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 3.70% or 3.50 points to 98.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 0.92% or 8.70 points to trade at 939.30 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 0.68% or 2.40 points to end at 348.30 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.64% or 6.20 points to 970.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 50 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.78% or 1.43 to $81.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.68% or 1.45 to hit $87.57 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.87% or 16.85 to trade at $1,925.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.51% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 101.89.
