Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 2.63%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.63%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 5.26% or 8.9 points to trade at 176.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 4.01% or 86.0 points to end at 2231.0 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 4.00% or 97 points to 2524 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 0.13% or 1 points to trade at 758 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 0.27% or 1.2 points to end at 452.9 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was up 0.42% or 2.00 points to 483.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 118 to 37 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.46% or 0.40 to $87.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.33% or 0.29 to hit $88.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 10.40 to trade at $1795.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.6420, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4412.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 96.847.
