Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 2.36%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.36%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 8.79% or 16.00 points to trade at 198.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 7.09% or 34.70 points to end at 524.40 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was up 7.01% or 27.40 points to 418.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 0.66% or 0.48 points to trade at 72.40 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 0.19% or 0.50 points to end at 267.30 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.51% or 13.00 points to 2,583.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 108 to 42 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.61% or 0.55 to $89.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.66% or 0.64 to hit $95.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.95 to trade at $1,814.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 1.25% to 7.19, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.41% at 104.75.
