Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.76%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.76%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 6.03% or 108.00 points to trade at 1,898.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 4.44% or 3.82 points to end at 89.80 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 4.24% or 840.00 points to 20,670.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 1.02% or 1.10 points to trade at 106.50 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 0.43% or 9.00 points to end at 2,100.00 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.03% or 0.20 points to 620.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 50 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.05% or 0.06 to $111.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.32% or 0.36 to hit $114.60 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 7.41 to trade at $1,821.41 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.99% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 103.41.
