Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.66%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.66% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 6.45% or 61.50 points to trade at 1,014.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 6.44% or 15.60 points to end at 258.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 4.45% or 26.70 points to 626.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 1.01% or 4.20 points to trade at 409.60 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 0.44% or 0.45 points to end at 101.60 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.38% or 3.40 points to 895.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.70% or 0.59 to $85.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.53% or 0.48 to hit $91.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 7.05 to trade at $1,661.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 1.02% to 7.46, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.13% at 110.64.
