Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.51%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.51%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.96% or 11.1 points to trade at 385.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 2.89% or 80 points to end at 2848 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 2.89% or 30.5 points to 1086.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 1.22% or 1.4 points to trade at 109.0 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 0.79% or 4.0 points to end at 501.0 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 0.47% or 3.8 points to 805.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 67 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.19% or 0.84 to $69.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.98% or 0.72 to hit $72.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 4.85 to trade at $1767.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.6052, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4358.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 96.575.
