Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.50%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.50% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 7.34% or 37.8 points to trade at 552.8 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 4.80% or 51.0 points to end at 1114.0 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 3.70% or 9.5 points to 266.0 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.40% or 180 points to trade at 12670 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.22% or 7.6 points to end at 615.6 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 0.25% or 2.0 points to 809.5.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 42 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) rose to all time highs; up 7.34% or 37.8 to 552.8. Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.70% or 9.5 to 266.0.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.26% or 0.15 to $58.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.51% or 0.31 to hit $61.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 11.00 to trade at $1815.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.1467, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4369.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 90.595.
