Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.39%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.39% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 3.99% or 7.7 points to trade at 199.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) added 2.99% or 6.2 points to end at 213.8 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 2.76% or 2.20 points to 81.86 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 0.67% or 4 points to trade at 653 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.37% or 3.6 points to end at 979.0 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was up 0.78% or 6.5 points to 841.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 106 to 31 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 6.75% or 2.50 to $39.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 5.98% or 2.35 to hit $41.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.72% or 13.80 to trade at $1921.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.63% to 6.3118, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4403.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 93.483.
