Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.37%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.37% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 7.73% or 129.00 points to trade at 1,797.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 6.08% or 30.80 points to end at 537.60 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 4.64% or 3.66 points to 82.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 0.87% or 7.40 points to trade at 845.60 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 0.04% or 1.00 points to end at 2,595.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.74% or 6.20 points to 849.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 119 to 36 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 4.37% or 4.21 to $100.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.39% or 3.45 to hit $105.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 10.60 to trade at $1,760.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 7.30, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 105.95.
