Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.33%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.33% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.18% or 3.02 points to trade at 98.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) added 2.74% or 5.00 points to end at 187.50 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.54% or 13.90 points to 561.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.25% or 3.30 points to trade at 143.40 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.81% or 285.00 points to end at 15,500.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 0.83% or 130.00 points to 15,520.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 65 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.27% or 1.57 to $70.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.85% or 1.38 to hit $75.97 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.38% or 27.70 to trade at $1,974.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 102.64.
