Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.10%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.10%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.04% or 5.40 points to trade at 270.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.70% or 21.20 points to end at 1,267.60 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.56% or 1.85 points to 120.15 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.96% or 20.00 points to trade at 1,001.00 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 1.92% or 11.20 points to end at 573.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 0.88% or 4.40 points to 495.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 71 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.11% or 0.09 to $80.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $84.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.65 to trade at $1,933.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.00% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 103.07.
