Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.09%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.09%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.06% or 31.8 points to trade at 815.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.68% or 48.0 points to end at 2897.0 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.64% or 15.60 points to 967.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 0.54% or 3.0 points to trade at 556.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.49% or 5.5 points to end at 1109.5 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.27% or 4.0 points to 1482.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 71 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.86% or 1.95 to $66.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.67% or 1.89 to hit $68.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.86% or 32.75 to trade at $1730.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.3299, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4370.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 92.903.
