Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.01%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.01%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.67% or 15.60 points to trade at 599.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.51% or 4.78 points to end at 195.00 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 2.27% or 12.60 points to 567.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.81% or 4.15 points to trade at 143.60 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.20% or 2.30 points to end at 102.30 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.40% or 10.00 points to 2,504.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 73 and 10 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.06% or 0.71 to $66.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.86% or 0.63 to hit $72.34 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 7.80 to trade at $1,981.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 102.99.
