Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.98%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.98%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 2.42% or 8.40 points to trade at 355.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.43% or 7.10 points to end at 504.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.43% or 13.60 points to 961.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 7.82% or 18.70 points to trade at 220.40 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.18% or 1.14 points to end at 95.20 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.93% or 1.65 points to 175.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 70 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.83% or 0.66 to $79.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.98% or 0.85 to hit $85.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 6.50 to trade at $1,922.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 101.88.
