Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.98%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.98% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 3.73% or 7.80 points to trade at 216.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 3.20% or 20.40 points to end at 658.40 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.19% or 350.00 points to 16,310.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 0.58% or 1.30 points to trade at 221.70 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 0.49% or 0.75 points to end at 151.40 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 0.35% or 2.20 points to 619.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 59 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.17% or 0.89 to $75.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.20% or 0.99 to hit $81.83 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.75 to trade at $1,819.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 7.03, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 104.85.
