Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.79%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.79%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 8.24% or 5.94 points to trade at 78.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 3.00% or 23.00 points to end at 790.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.16% or 4.08 points to 192.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.90% or 18.80 points to trade at 968.60 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 1.74% or 26.50 points to end at 1,500.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 0.91% or 4.30 points to 470.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 77 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.74% or 26.50 to 1,500.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.61% or 0.58 to $94.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.35% or 0.35 to hit $100.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 6.65 to trade at $1,768.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 7.46, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 108.52.
