Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.75%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.75% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.72% or 23.80 points to trade at 527.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 4.62% or 3.92 points to end at 88.70 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 2.80% or 89.00 points to 3,269.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 3.45% or 29.80 points to trade at 833.60 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 1.62% or 25.50 points to end at 1,550.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 1.15% or 10.40 points to 893.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 72 and 17 ended unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; rising 2.80% or 89.00 to 3,269.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.18% or 2.49 to $80.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.11% or 2.62 to hit $86.87 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 19.25 to trade at $1,767.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 7.21, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 106.85.
