Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.74%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.74% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 2.17% or 3.40 points to trade at 160.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.68% or 16.50 points to end at 1,000.20 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.23% or 1.90 points to 156.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 5.10% or 12.50 points to trade at 232.50 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.29% or 3.80 points to end at 161.80 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.64% or 10.80 points to 649.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 63 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; up 1.68% or 16.50 to 1,000.20. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 3-years highs; rising 1.23% or 1.90 to 156.80.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.17% or 0.13 to $76.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.30% or 1.09 to hit $82.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 4.55 to trade at $1,845.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 103.91.
