Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.73%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.73%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.70% or 16.50 points to trade at 986.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) added 0.59% or 1.40 points to end at 240.30 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 0.52% or 80.00 points to 15,420.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.43% or 2.65 points to trade at 106.40 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.38% or 5.30 points to end at 217.60 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.46% or 9.80 points to 660.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 71 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.25% or 2.55 to $75.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.84% or 2.42 to hit $82.72 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 5.20 to trade at $1,846.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 104.10.
