Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.65%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.65%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which rose 4.71% or 10.30 points to trade at 229.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 3.14% or 16.00 points to end at 525.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.80% or 5.45 points to 200.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 3.76% or 7.50 points to trade at 192.00 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 1.41% or 7.40 points to end at 516.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.26% or 200.00 points to 15,655.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 62 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.38% or 1.02 to $74.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.21% or 0.95 to hit $79.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.41% or 25.95 to trade at $1,866.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.83% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.80% at 103.99.
