Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.62%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.62%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 4.33% or 112 points to trade at 2699 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 4.15% or 15.6 points to end at 391.9 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was up 3.48% or 20.50 points to 610.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 0.79% or 9.0 points to trade at 1129.5 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 0.70% or 5.20 points to end at 732.80 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.30% or 0.4 points to 151.8.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 107 to 55 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.30% or 0.4 to 151.8.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.72% or 2.91 to $81.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.29% or 2.66 to hit $83.53 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 17.10 to trade at $1815.90 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.5495, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4419.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 95.683.
