Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.62%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.62%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 5.47% or 5.14 points to trade at 99.10 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 4.89% or 8.20 points to end at 176.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 3.10% or 460.00 points to 15,275.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 2.20% or 4.80 points to trade at 212.90 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 0.52% or 14.00 points to end at 2,658.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 0.48% or 0.96 points to 197.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 55 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.68% or 0.54 to $78.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.05% or 0.90 to hit $84.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.60 to trade at $1,944.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.51% to 6.81, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 101.51.
