Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.58%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.58%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 4.11% or 31.70 points to trade at 802.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 0.06% or 0.10 points to end at 170.20 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.79% or 21.00 points to 2,648.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 5.35% or 13.20 points to trade at 233.50 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 4.89% or 81.50 points to end at 1,585.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 3.97% or 36.00 points to 871.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 106 to 48 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.20% or 1.99 to $88.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.26% or 2.19 to hit $94.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 13.65 to trade at $1,749.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 1.01% to 7.48, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.73% at 108.89.
