Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.54%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.54%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 4.34% or 645.00 points to trade at 15,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.82% or 560.00 points to end at 15,230.00 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) was up 2.28% or 4.70 points to 210.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 0.86% or 26.00 points to trade at 3,004.00 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 508.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 925.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 106 to 45 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.22% or 1.69 to $77.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.20% or 1.76 to hit $81.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.25 to trade at $1,826.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 103.87.
