Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.50%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.50% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 10.64% or 44.30 points to trade at 460.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 5.93% or 47.00 points to end at 839.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 4.34% or 7.00 points to 168.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 0.21% or 1.80 points to trade at 850.70 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.20% or 1.80 points to end at 918.80 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.28% or 1.20 points to 427.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 55 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.25% or 1.15 to $90.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.88% or 0.86 to hit $97.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.22% or 37.25 to trade at $1,717.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 7.38, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 109.39.
