Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.48%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.48%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 2.70% or 9.4 points to trade at 357.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.39% or 60.0 points to end at 2566.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.29% or 5.5 points to 431.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 5.19% or 66.00 points to trade at 1205.50 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 1.45% or 1.50 points to end at 102.20 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 1.05% or 26 points to 2446.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 50 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; up 2.39% or 60.0 to 2566.0.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.15% or 0.08 to $53.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.18% or 0.10 to hit $56.48 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 15.65 to trade at $1859.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.1110, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4395.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 90.203.
