Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.47%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.47%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 1.92% or 3.2 points to trade at 172.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.85% or 16.00 points to end at 880.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.77% or 168 points to 9680 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 2.36% or 1.9 points to trade at 80.3 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 0.50% or 2.3 points to end at 453.7 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 0.48% or 1.9 points to 397.5.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 63 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.55% or 0.22 to $40.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.45% or 0.19 to hit $41.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 13.50 to trade at $1863.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.46% to 6.4090, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4466.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 94.770.
