Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.40%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.40%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 3.50% or 19.40 points to trade at 573.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 3.14% or 6.50 points to end at 213.40 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 3.01% or 4.65 points to 159.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 3.25% or 89.00 points to trade at 2,651.00 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.34% or 8.40 points to end at 618.50 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.10% or 7.20 points to 647.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 73 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) rose to all time highs; rising 3.50% or 19.40 to 573.40. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 3-years highs; up 3.01% or 4.65 to 159.20.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.30% or 0.96 to $74.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.24% or 1.00 to hit $81.60 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 12.10 to trade at $1,829.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 7.03, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 104.56.
