Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.40%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.40%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 4.25% or 68.00 points to trade at 1,670.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.04% or 2.45 points to end at 122.40 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.93% or 9.60 points to 507.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 0.97% or 3.20 points to trade at 325.60 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 0.87% or 1.52 points to end at 173.30 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 0.35% or 1.40 points to 402.10.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 62 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.17% or 2.59 to $79.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.99% or 2.68 to hit $87.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 5.65 to trade at $1,757.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 7.18, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 106.55.
