Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.39%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.39% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 1.87% or 3.10 points to trade at 169.10 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 1.78% or 23.50 points to end at 1,344.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.72% or 220.00 points to 13,010.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 1.13% or 9.00 points to trade at 788.80 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.78% or 8.00 points to end at 1,016.00 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 0.35% or 1.60 points to 459.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 60 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.37% or 0.30 to $80.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.38% or 0.32 to hit $84.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.91% or 17.75 to trade at $1,964.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 103.63.
