Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.38%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.38%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.73% or 6.6 points to trade at 248.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.71% or 70.0 points to end at 2649.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 2.35% or 2.40 points to 104.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 4.99% or 30.2 points to trade at 575.0 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.53% or 18.50 points to end at 1190.50 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 1.05% or 9.0 points to 848.0.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 53 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; up 2.71% or 70.0 to 2649.0.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.34% or 0.18 to $52.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.89% or 0.50 to hit $55.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 9.20 to trade at $1845.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.23% to 6.1336, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4382.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 90.388.
