Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.37%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.32% or 15.60 points to trade at 687.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 2.18% or 18.20 points to end at 852.80 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.52% or 3.20 points to 213.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 6.16% or 11.05 points to trade at 168.20 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.99% or 5.95 points to end at 192.80 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) was down 2.86% or 6.70 points to 227.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 68 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.71% or 1.32 to $78.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.86% or 1.54 to hit $84.21 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 16.05 to trade at $1,894.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 102.37.
