Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.34%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.34% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.60% or 3.30 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 2.30% or 7.80 points to end at 346.80 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.19% or 11.60 points to 542.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.34% or 15.50 points to trade at 648.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.80% or 270.00 points to end at 14,700.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.80% or 275.00 points to 15,025.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 78 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.10% or 0.08 to $81.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.22% or 0.19 to hit $86.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 8.65 to trade at $1,806.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 7.08, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.84.
