Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.34%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.34%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 3.99% or 8.00 points to trade at 208.60 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.47% or 560.00 points to end at 16,680.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 3.23% or 530.00 points to 16,940.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 4.49% or 6.85 points to trade at 145.60 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 2.54% or 15.00 points to end at 575.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 1.94% or 2.00 points to 101.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 62 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.47% or 0.36 to $76.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.11% or 0.09 to hit $83.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 7.55 to trade at $1,844.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.93% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 104.32.
