Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.33%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.33%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.63% or 5.20 points to trade at 117.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 4.49% or 414.00 points to end at 9,642.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 3.90% or 355.00 points to 9,450.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 4.48% or 27.50 points to trade at 586.50 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.94% or 4.00 points to end at 201.70 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 1.83% or 42.00 points to 2,250.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 68 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.95% or 0.82 to $85.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.61% or 0.55 to hit $89.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 7.35 to trade at $2,355.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 105.30.
