Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.32%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.32% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 3.97% or 64.00 points to trade at 1,678.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.51% or 380.00 points to end at 15,495.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.24% or 330.00 points to 15,050.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.21% or 4.04 points to trade at 178.50 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 1.48% or 6.60 points to end at 438.30 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was down 1.43% or 4.80 points to 330.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 71 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.17% or 0.13 to $77.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.36% or 0.31 to hit $85.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 4.75 to trade at $1,750.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 7.15, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 105.97.
