Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.28%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.28%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 2.58% or 11.40 points to trade at 452.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.60% or 2.15 points to end at 136.30 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 1.54% or 2.80 points to 184.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 4.32% or 21.50 points to trade at 475.90 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 2.88% or 10.30 points to end at 347.10 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 2.19% or 11.10 points to 496.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 70 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) rose to all time highs; rising 2.58% or 11.40 to 452.70. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 1.60% or 2.15 to 136.30. Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.88% or 10.30 to 347.10.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.06% or 0.05 to $78.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $82.12 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.14% or 20.75 to trade at $1,804.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 7.02, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 104.14.
